Honda Fury Furious Hardtail Chopper
“Based on the 2010 Fury, Nick Renner (Honda R&D Americas) introduces “Furious”, a bold blend of new and old school flavor. Pounding the street with a 23 inch wheel up front and a 20 on the rear, Furious makes no apologies. 45 degree rake and converted hard tail create a clean, pure statement that is simply chopper. Metal flake, variegated leafing, and diamond stitched seat contrast with the five spoke crushers and Fury tank. Long and low, clean and mean… Furious is an instant Neo-Classic.”

Exposed shaft drive
Hard tail custom spec frame conversion (37degree head pipe with a 8 degree fork angle offset)

Fog Off! Review
Fog Off! Review
This winter on my daily commute ride I got to experience something new to me. Being blessed most of my life with good vision; I’d never had to battle fogging glasses before. Now at the start of my middle ages I found myself having to hold what I was reading farther and farther away to read it and having a hard time with small text. Alas, I’m getting old. Now I wear reading glasses, even as I’m writing this. I currently ride my V-Star 1100wearing a half helmet and I wear either sunglasses or goggles with various colored lenses, depending on conditions, for eye protection.
As winter pulled us farther and farther away from the sun, the temperatures started to drop. It wasn’t long before I started observing a strange phenomenon, usually in the morning. I was riding with clear riding glasses because it’s dark in the morning when I leave for work. Every time I slowed down and came to a stop my glasses were fogging up on the inside. It would clear up when I started moving but eventually you just got to stop.
My ability to see got poorer as the temperature dropped. I finally purchased aneoprene riding mask to keep the icy wind of my face and that made it even worse. The mask seemed to direct my breath strait onto the inside of my glasses. Now even moving it would fog. I remembered back to the days I had a diving mask and you could apply spit to the inside lens of the mask to keep it from fogging. So, I tried it. It did not work of course. I switched to goggles and it did not help. It got to the point that it was scary to have to slow down and stop. It was time for me to do something if I was going to continue to ride.
I remembered reading an anti-fog test comparison once on web Bike World. So I decided to stop in at Cycle Gear and see what they had. The helpful salesperson handed me a bottle of FOG OFF! It came with its own small microfiber applicator cloth. It comes in a small 29.5 ML pump spray bottle and states MADE IN U.S.A. The bottle claims it is made with Exofogonium 3, whatever that is. The directions simply read:
SHAKE BEFORE USE:
APPLY FOG OFF TO
SURFACE, COVERING
COMPLETELY BUFF WITH
SOFT CLOTH UNTIL CLEAR.
I applied some to my clear night riding glasses according to the directions before my morning commute. Well, I don’t know what is in FOG OFF, but it worked. After riding about a week I started noticing some dampness distortion on the inside of my riding glasses, so I reapplied FOG OFF and it went away. One application seemed to last about a week for me. I cannot say this is the best anti-fog solution out there because I have not tried any others. I will say that it performed and lasted as well as I expected. I now keep the bottle of FOG OFF and cloth in my saddlebag. Torch gives FOG OFF! a M.M.M Rating of 8 out of 10. Ride on, Torch

Single Cylinder Engine A single is the perfect choice for a bike like the CBR250R. It's light, simple, returns excellent fuel economy, and features a broad powerband with plenty of low revving torque just what you want in a first motorcycle.
Fuel Injection Fuel injection means the new CBR250R starts right up, even in cold weather. Compared to a carbureted bike, it also helps reduce emissions and enhance performance and fuel economy.
Layered Style Fairing Take a close look at the CBR250R's unique bodywork, which is designed for style and functionality. It routes airflow for both engine cooling and rider comfort, while creating a unique sportbike style.
Analog/Digital Instrumentation The CBR250R's digital gauges with analog tachometer provides vital riding information in a styled, hi-tech instrumentation package.
Combined Anti lock Brake System Our Combined ABS can be a big help in making controlled stops in less than ideal conditions. Like on wet pavement, or when there's sand on the road or other debris. It's a perfect choice whether you're using your new bike as a commuter or just riding it for fun since it helps you stop with added confidence.
Disc Brakes The new CBR250R features front and rear hydraulic discs for excellent stopping power and brake feel. The single front disc helps keep things simple and lowers unsprung weight, too.
Pro-Link Rear Suspension The CBR250R uses a single shock pre-load adjustable rear suspension that not only gives you a smooth ride, but helps enhance handling as well, just as on some of our larger sport models.
Low Seat Height A low 30.5" seat height does more than help make sure the CBR250R fits a wide range of riders. It makes it easier to put your feet down at stoplights and in parking lots–a big confidence builder.

Got Snow?
It's been a white wintery not so wunderland here in Minnesota this year, and I know many other places as well.
Matter of fact, this year in Minnesota, we broke the all time record in the month of December for snow fall, and the snow has not stopped yet. It just keeps coming and coming and coming. It's like the Energizer Bunny on Viagra doing porn.
Being an insurance adjuster, I think I've handled more interior water damage claims caused by ice dams due to the repeated large snow falls this year than any other year before. Correction, I know I have.
Mrs. M. refers to this year as "Snowmageddon".
So for me and all of the other snow bound riders out there who won't be riding any time soon, I am posting this to lighten our spirits.
Below is an aerial photo of the average upstate NY & New England commute for folks these days....

All the money raised by the sale of this unique lot will support the work of Riders for Health.
The bike is the civilian version of the MotoGP machine ridden by nine-times World Champion, Rossi, who was on hand to personally sign the bike at the recent MotoGP at Laguna Seca.
Sporting Rossi’s personal “Five Continents” AGV helmet design, this amazing and very specialised motorcycle was the brainchild of Daytona 200 winner, former racing champion, and AMA Hall of Famer Don Emde. Emde founded the non-profit Friends of Riders for Health to further the cause in America of Riders for Health.
As a way to generate funds for Riders for Health, Emde conceived this project and then invited the “who’s who” of the motorcycling world to participate.
“Once we got Rossi’s blessing, everyone jumped aboard,” said Emde. “Yamaha Motor Corp. USA donated the brand new stock machine, Aldo Drudi translated the graphics from Rossi’s helmet to the R1’s special bodywork imported from Italy, Roland Sands donated Ronin wheels, Bridgestone added BT-003 tyres, Öhlins gave suspension, Akrapovic provided exhaust, EBC did brakes, and the list goes on – Vortex, Goodridge, Dynojet, etc. Just with improvements the bike’s value is nearly $30,000, and that’s without the significance of the project and Rossi’s involvement.”
This incredible team effort R1, personally autographed by Rossi, will be presented in “track day” trim but it is fully street legal and will be offered with all the necessary accessories and California title. On top of that, Yamaha will donate a day at the Yamaha Champions Riding School for the winning bidder.
